Cocktail O’Clock: A Scottish Highball

Johnnie Walker Scottish Highball
AD - gifted product & affilate links.

A Scottish themed highball recipe to celebrate the Scotland V France match for the Six Nations. The perfect Spirit of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 drink to make if you are watching the match at home with friends.

When I’m watching the rugby, an easy pint in the pub is normally the go-to drink BUT, it was a welcome change to try something a bit fresher when Johnnie Walker (the official whisky of the Six Nations) sent out the ingredients for me to try a ‘Scottish Highball’.

FYI guys – I know this is not a highball glass (as Zack more than happily pointed out), but I wanted to use my monogram glass – and H for highball is fine, right?

INGREDIENTS

50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
15ml Crabbies Ginger Wine
150ml Ginger Ale
Thistle Garnish

Isn’t that the easiest cocktail recipe you’ve ever tried? Pour the ingredients over ice and add the thistle garnish for a little Scottish Spirit.

Let me know if you’ll be making these for the rugby, they are so easy and refreshing. Enjoy the match if you’re watching.
